Once your roof is done you can have confidence that we're still on the job protecting your roof with our warranties. We offer 2 types of warranties, the Manufacturers Material Warranty stands behind the quality of the product and the Systems Warranty is a joint warranty between the manufacturer and Kohl's Foam Systems that acts as an insurance policy on your roof. 10 year Manufacturers Material Warranty The 10 year Manufacturers Material Warranty is offered automatically at no extra cost to you. It's our way of showing you that we have picked a quality manufacturer that stands behind their materials and guarantees that that they are not defective and will not fail upon proper application. If you have a spray foam roof done that has 2 passes of coating applied (typically 27-30 dry mils). The 10 year Manufacturers Material Warranty is an automatic part of your quality service from Kohl's. 15 year Manufacturers Material Warranty The 15 year Manufacturers Material Warranty is an optional warranty that we offer on a spray foam roof that has 3 passes of coating applied (typically 35-40 dry mils). The 15 year Manufacturers Material Warranty is available for an extra fee for those looking to have a longer warranty. Systems Warranty The Systems Warranty is also available for periods of 10 and 15 years. Depending on thickness and features of your roof a systems warranty typically costs 8-12 cents per square foot. The systems warranty is in effect an extra level of insurance on the roof offered jointly by the manufacturer and Kohl's Foam Systems. The manufacturer guarantees labor and the product and will pay to have Kohl's Foam Systems or a third party come back to fix a problem. All of our warranties are transferable; simply notify both Kohls Foam Systems and the Manufacturer in writing that you would like to transfer the warranty and provide the new owner's contact information. All of our warranties are designed to stand behind our quality work and guarantee the product performance as well.
