"Our home in Old Snowmass, Colorado has a flat foam roof whose upper layers had prematurely deteriorated. The repair of the roof was part of a major multi-year retrofit. This superinsulated and passive-solar home, known for its innovative design and very high energy efficiency, was built in the early 1980s and has been visited by over 100,000 guests and scores of film crews from around the world.
